WAYNE, PA –NOVEMBER 2, 2012 – The most important aspect of any business is operation without interruption. The IPR ZoneIT Service Center (ZSC) team made sure that was the case before, during and after Hurricane Sandy made landfall. Detailed communications were distributed to IPR clients around the globe assuring them that our team was standing ready and prepared for the worst. These communications are essential when our clients are concerned, not only for their own well-being, but for the safety and security of their employees and day-to-day business operations.

Upon landfall, Hurricane Sandy brought unexpected devastation to the northeastern seaboard with widespread power outages and extensive coastal flooding. The ‘Superstorm’ affected at least 24 states from Maine to Florida and as far west as Wisconsin and severely damaged New Jersey and New York City. Many of these areas remain uninhabitable and without power. IPR’s data centers were directly in the Hurricane’s path and ‘weathered the storm’ without incident.

IPR is reporting that their Reading (Reading, PA) and Wilmington (Wilmington, DE) Data Centers never lost power throughout the disaster and the IPR ZoneIT Service Center (ZSC) remained fully staffed with employees going above and beyond the call. There was no disruption to Clients’ service and all infrastructures remained functional.
