Wayne, PA – November 23, 2011 – IPR International, LLC, a leader in data center and disaster recovery services was featured at the November 10th Delaware Valley 7×24 Exchange Event in Wilmington, DE. Presenters for the event were IPR’s Michael J. Emmi, Chairman and CEO, Sean Meenan, Senior Vice President and CFO and Rich Carroll, Chief Business Development Officer. The focus of IPR’s presentation was, From Legacy to Leading Edge: The Rebirth and Repurposing of a Data Center: A case study of how IPR International transformed a defunct legacy Data Center formerly operated by a major financial institution, into a modern Continuous Computing Center. The presentation covered the challenges of removing the legacy elements of a decades old high rise Data Center and refreshing it to modern high density, resiliency and environmental standards.
The evening’s events also included other presenters who detailed how the largest energy users maximize energy savings using financial derivatives and how the Data Center industry can take advantage of energy procurement strategies to reduce power cost by an additional 10-15% while incurring no additional costs.
