Continuing a tradition started last fall, IPR International today hosted its third CIO Thought Leadership Roundtable Forum. This ongoing series of events draws together top IT executives from across industries to share ideas, insights, and challenges they face as they work to help their organizations implement innovative IT solutions that drive business growth.

The topic of this afternoon’s discussions was “The Evolving Demands on Today’s IT Department.” Attendees included Amy Turner LaDow of Ellucian, Franz Fruehwald of the Arch Diocese of Philadelphia, Kjell Hegstad of Digital-Vikings, John Critikos of Toll Brothers Inc., Mike Everly of D&H Distributing, Dr. Jerry A. Smith of Sentillian, Chris Bouvier of KePRO, Bill Meyerowitz of Forest Incentives, and IPR Board of Managers Chairman Mike Emmi, as well as IPR’s own CEO Tami Fratis and EVP David McLaughlin. Branding consultant Maureen Craig facilitated the event.

Conversation was lively—thanks, Maureen, for peppering the group with questions that beget more questions! Participants drew from personal successes and failures as they worked together to imagine even better ways to foster innovation using technology. We’ll be sharing some of the key ideas that grew out of today’s events in subsequent posts here, so stay tuned…
